If anyone gets a chance to visit Korea, you should visit each palaces (unfortunately I only visited this palace). This palace is really close to the subway exit (City Hall Subway Station. Exit #2 (Subway line 1) or Exit #12), very easy to reach - should be easy to find for other tourists.

can i first say that i love the filter/editing you did for the photos.. makes everything look really pretty.. i went to korea last year in june and i gotta say deoksugung palace was the most fun palace to visit, cos of the changing of guards ceremony.. so no worries tt u didnt manage to visit the rest.. but im a sucker for palaces.. so i went to all 5... i love the architecture of the palaces and how the colours are very distinct.. similar in styles to china/japan yet very korean... the guards standing outside are the best.. cos when i went, it was typhoon season.. gosh. seeing the guards brave the winds...yet having to keep a straight face.. was the best.. took many photos with them.. keke...
ReplyDeleteHi Natasha! Thank you vry much for the compliment!!! :D You went to all 5? wow... i'm not so big on palaces. hahaha. So one was enough for my friend and I...
ReplyDeleteI took pictures with the guards also!! Most of them stood still and put on stiff faces when taking pictures, there was one really cheeky tho. she turned his head to the camera and even smiled widely. hahaha.
haha.. no probs.. ur blog is really nice.. the photos make me wanna go back to korea again.. lols.. yup. i went to all 5. cos i am a sucker for palaces and museums.. keke.. i was kinda reluctant to take pics with the guards.. cos they look so serious and kinda intimidating.. but..my frens made funny poses with them... which were hilarious.. saw ur post on yeolbong as well.. wanted to go there. but didnt have time and didnt know where it was.. lols. definitely gonna go back next time..
